I stayed downtown, really close to the River Walk. I did not take any boat trips - even though it seemed to be an option. I walked along a pretty good stretch of it.

Being another river town, I knew the layout enough from an overhead perspective.  

​​I used a flight simulator to study up in case I decided to take a flight instruction class there.

​​It took only a few minutes of being at the hotel to suddenly feel really hungry. My flight that got me there I had been incredibly early, as was the plan so far.

​​I got to the zoo and looked at some birds.

​​My plan had been to walk all along the river, then get something to eat. 

​​Having done that, I did manage to get a car and to some of the places I wanted to go. So I went to some food spots.

​​I did it right. I had a Brisket burger and ate a Mexican restaurant.
